Kick off The Pacific Northwaste with a bang at our opening ceremony! Join us as we welcome everyone to the wasteland, set the tone for the weekend, and ignite the spirit of community and adventure.

 

Wasteland Art Gallery

Hours:Open throughout the event

Official Showing & Guided Tours:Saturday, 12:00 PM

Explore the incredible creativity of our community at the Wasteland Art Gallery. Featuring post-apocalyptic masterpieces from wasteland artists, the gallery showcases unique visions of the end of the world. During the official showing on Saturday, enjoy guided tours and cast your vote using "trinkets" as currency. Artists keep the trinkets as a token of appreciation, and the winner takes home the coveted trophy—an evolving prize that must return next year with an artistic addition to keep the tradition alive.

Costume Show

Step into the spotlight or cheer on your fellow wastelanders at the Costume Show! Celebrate the ingenuity and artistry of wasteland fashion as participants showcase their creations. Whether you’re wearing duct-taped armor or post-apocalyptic haute couture, this event is the ultimate celebration of style.

There are 4 primary categories, with prizes for each:

  • Most Thematic
    The costume with the most impressive attention to detail and skill in execution, whether it’s hand-sewn fabrics, intricate props, or clever materials.
  • Survivor’s Spirit
    The costume that best embodies the grit, ingenuity, and resilience of a true wasteland survivor.
  • Best Use of Scavenged Materials
    The costume that makes the most inventive use of recycled, upcycled, or "wasteland-worthy" materials, emphasizing resourcefulness.
  • Audience Choice
    The costume that recieves the most votes for "Audience choice".

The Wasteland Revue: A Morchella Galore Production

The Wasteland Revue brings post-apocalyptic elegance, humor, and daring performances to the wasteland stage. This burlesque extravaganza features a talented troupe of performers delivering unforgettable shows on both Saturday and Sunday nights. Each evening promises a unique and captivating experience filled with creativity, bold artistry, and adult-themed entertainment.
